Welcome To Early Bird

Infants

(6 Weeks to 18 Months)

"At Early Bird we offer the closest thing to your care when you can't be there"

Our enriched play spaces are filled with safe stimulating things to look at, touch, and grasp such as teethers and rattles.

As your baby matures, ring stacking cones and nesting boxes that can be filled and dumped are a real hit!

Your baby's language development is influenced by the sounds they hear from you and other caregivers, like cooing, talking, and singing. We support that process by playing games such as peek-a-boo and using music with catchy tunes and lullabies at rest time.

Why not come and see our program in action.

Skills that Children Will Learn

Social Interaction Skills

  • Infants begin to understand the basics of social interaction, such as taking turns, sharing toys, and recognizing emotions in others.
  • Early exposure to peers fosters empathy, cooperation, and the ability to build relationships.

Communication Development

  • Through exposure to songs, stories, and conversations, infants improve their verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
  • They learn to express themselves using gestures, babbling, and eventually forming words.

Fine and Gross Motor Skills

  • Activities like crawling, grasping toys, and stacking blocks help infants develop coordination and strengthen their muscles.
  • These exercises are foundational for walking, feeding, and other physical milestones.
